Styrenic block copolymers (SBS, SIS, and SEBS) are increasingly used as raw materials for the adhesive industry, mainly for production of hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives. The two major application areas are tapes and sanitary adhesives, and we will consider mainly these applications. SIS is normally used for tapes and labels; big quantities of SBS, SIS and SEBS are used for sanitary applications.
