Formulation Studies Via Designed Experiments: Why Bother!, 1996 Hot Melt Symposium Proceedings
The methodology of designed experiments for formulation studies is well documented. Still, there are many investigator who, through many and varied reasons, choose to use less efficient methods. In this paper we counter some of the more common excuses for not using designed experiments during formulation studies. By example we will consider a classic three-component mixture with applications to hot melt adhesives.
