Study of Corrugated Liner Paper and Bondability by Hot Melt Adhesives, 1996 Hot Melt Symposium Proceedings

There is a large variety of corrugated liner board types in the market today. Some of these liner types are harder to bond than others, which require more aggressive hot melts for acceptable bonding performance. We have undertaken a study that addresses the usage of hot melt adhesives on different liner types. Our results indicate a number of factors influence the bonding of hot melts to corrugated liner board.
