A new series of standard heated dispense valves and temperature control systems designed for one-part materials where elevated material temperatures to 350°F are required have been developed and integrated into automated dispense systems. Developed and tested in the Dispensit laboratory in Indianapolis, Indiana, the new products are ideal for potting, bonding, sealing and other applications involving materials with viscosity that will not flow at desirable rates in ambient temperatures. This paper describes the performance of the valves and the motion systems including an application and productivity analysis.
