Study of Chlorine-Free Bleaching for High Brightness of Kenaf Stem Soda-AQ Pulp, 1996 International Pulp Bleaching Conference Proceedings
The technology and the mechanism of totally -chlorine-free bleaching for high brightness of kenaf stem Soda-AQ pulp were investigated in this thesis. The results show that NaOH charge, reaction time and temperature are the main factors in the medium-consistency oxygen bleaching of kenaf stem Soda-AQ pulp, but oxygen partial pressure secondary. The optimal conditions of the oxygen bleaching are as follows: NaOH 3.5% oxygen partial pressure 0.6MPa, temperature 100 ºC, time 60min, MgS04 0.5% and pulp consistency 10%. The degree of delignification is 46.7% in the condition. By OZEP sequence of ozone charge 0.8%, hydrogen peroxide charge l.0%, the kenaf(whole stalk) Soda-AQ pulp can be bleached to 85%(SBD), This totally-chlorine-free bleaching technology and process are simple, and environmental pollution of chlorinated organic compounds may be eliminated total, the cost is reasonable, it has practical value.
