Newsprint From the Perspective of a Press Manufacturer, 1997 Newsprint Forum Proceedings
Primary input to paper manufacturers has always come from the user. The paper characteristics required by printing presses are not often conveyed directly to the paper manufacturer. This summary of newsprint’s interaction with the press hardware and the variations in that hardware is focused on bridging the information gap and giving paper technical personnel information to aid in resolving on-press paper issues, as well as planning future production requirements.
