Milkweed floss is the silky, white seed parachute from the pod of the milkweed plant. Natural Fibers is producing developmental quantities of floss for use in nonwoven product development.

Milkweed floss has physical and chemical characteristics that make the fiber an ideal candidate to improve the properties of nonwoven products. Natural milkweed floss is a fine hollow fiber that can add bulk, improve softness and modify the absorbent characteristics of nonwoven products.
