For the last four and one half years the Author was manager for a special Skunk Works by General Motors known as G M 100. The sole Purpose was to develop a high strength low cost composite replacement for steel body panels to be used in future General Motors Vehicles. The GM 100 Program was cancelled the first of April, 1989. We were fortunate in being able to finalize all of the process oonditions and expectations prior to being closed down. The Author will discuss in detail the various products produced and occurred during period.
