An update on the development of the high-speed digital process which was first shown at DRUPA ‘95. The presentation will include a general specification of the equipment, cost of operation comparisons, description of hardware configuration, application description, etc. In addition, the presentation will include a brief update on continuous ink-jet ink development and some of the paper issues which can help this technology attain quality printing. This equipment is positioned differently than other digital color printers in that it prints approximately 50,000 A4 images per hour at a per-page price that approaches that of offset. This position will also be discussed as part of the presentation.
