Consumer change drives retailer change leading, in turn, to transformations in how consumer goods are packaged. In addition, environmental regulations impact consumers, retailers and packaged-goods makers. These fundamental variables are the driving forces behind the changing U.S. marketplace for converted flexible packaging, labels and paperboard folding cartons. All tolled, these changes are and will continue to put greater demands on the converters of these packaging products, influencing the direction the in-dustry is headed.
