Courtaulds Fibres R&T
Courtaulds Lyocell is a new cellulosic fibre produced by direct solvent dissolution of woodpulp. This highly crystalline fibre exhibits unique properties -high wet and dry strength, coupled with the potential to fibrillate into sub-micron fibrils. These characteristics can be utilised in speciality papers and nonwoven products. Fibre and fabric properties will be discussed, and specific applications identified.
