Modeling for the Quality Evaluation of Nonwoven and Polymeric Composites, 1997 Nonwovens Conference Proceedings

A mathematical modelling for quality control and evaluation of nonwoven and polymeric composites is being established based on mechanical properties of nonwoven and polymeric composites, using factor analysis in multi variate analysis and comprehensive evaluation of fuzzy mathematics. Also a mathematical model for classification of nonwoven fabrics was developed, using non parameter method of fuzzy collection. Selected spunbonded webs of Polypropylene homopolymer and polypropylene-based polyethylene copolymer were characterized using KES-FB system. The obtained data were processed and applied to the established model for quality evuluation and control.
