Recovery Boiler Air Flow Measurements, 1993 Process Control, Electrical & Information Conference Proceedings
Richard E. Britton
Accurate measurement of air flow is critical to the efficient firing of black liquor in recovery boilers. It also has a major effect on stack gas emissions.
This paper will present various methods, past and present, of measurement techniques used on combustion air. Shortcomings and installation problems of these methods will be discussed and recommendations for good installations will be presented.
