Advances In Color Control and Evaluation of Printed Designs, 1998 Plastic Laminates Symposium Proceedings

Interprint, Inc. has been developing computer-aided evaluations to eliminate the subjectivity of viewing printed designs. It is possible to track the color quality of previous productions and guide the current production utilizing this system. By quantifying the printed design one can evaluate more objectively and maintain consistency from run to run as well as within a run. This system has proven to be an efficient and profitable tool for continuous improvement and warrants further development.
