Norms and Standards for the North American Laminate Flooring Industry A Progress Report, 1998 Plastic Laminates Symposium Proceedings

In North America, there is not presently an industry standard for the performance characteristics of the new laminate flooring products, which are being sold into the market. In consideration of this rapidly expanding market, and through a cooperative effort of several companies, the North American Laminate Flooring Association (NALFA) was developed to write technical standards for manufacturing product quality and consumer use.
