Comparison of Colloidal Titration and Zeta Potential in Wet End Monitoring, 1992 Papermakers Conference Proceedings

Colloidal titration and zeta potential measurement are two different methodologies that are often utilized in monitoring for papermachine wet end operations. But the two techniques share as about as much similarity as a speedometer and a gas gauge do for automobile operation. They are both helpful in providing information but also are fundamentally different as what it is they determine. With the possible exception of combination techniques, colloidal titrations and zeta potentials need not be expected to share any correlation.
