OEM’s today are rapidly developing a new service culture designed to provide a consultative approach to solve papermaking problems using new technology and upgrading using mature technology. This approach establishes teamwork between the paper mill and the OEM which is often referred to as a partnership.

Mills can rely on OEM’s for technical excellence regarding the paper and finishing machinery because the OEM’s only focus is developing the equipment, application of the equipment and the R & D to “break new ground. Conversely, OEM’s need profitable paper mills to use their products, hence, partnership.
