Application of Displacement Washing Deinking to a Mixed Office Waste Furnish, 1991 Pulping Conference Proceedings

As the collection and use of secondary fiber increases due to decreased landfilling space, mixed office waste will be the grade that will have to be collected and deinked in order to feed the predicted demand. This paper describes the results of evaluating this grade of secondary fiber and the results of deinking this grade with a displacement washing deinking system.
