Virginia Fibre Corporation is one of the leading U. S. producers of corrugating medium. It is the largest worldwide independent producer, and is ninth largest of all U. S. manufacturers. In terms of production capacity, VFC has embarked on a $lOO+ million multi-year plan to increase production to approximately 1,000 tons per day. The first phase, completed in December 1989, was installation and start-up of a 500 ton-per-day old corrugated container recycling plant

designed by Beloit Fiber Systems Division.
