Paper Machine Clothing and Cleaning Issues for Recycled Fiber Usage, 1992 Engineering Conference Proceedings

The author will discuss a brief overview of changes to be anticipated due to recycled fiber usage. Emphasis will be directed toward the effect of recycled fiber contaminants on machine clothing, the new types of contaminants and generalized treatment schemes. Changes in sheet quality properties and different operating strategies due to recycle fiber contamination of machine clothing will also be discussed.
