New Tool to Examine the Interaction Between Fibers and Forming Fabrics, 1996 Engineering Conference Proceedings
This computer program is a tool which provides us with an innovative approach to the understanding of the fundamentals of papermaking. By creating a computerized model of the papermaking process we have the ability to change the factors that have major effects. This allows us to better understand the interaction of Forming Fabrics and the role that they play in the papermaking process. New design thinking can be trialed on the computer model prior to field testing and this helps to better serve the industry.
