Implementation of a corporate-wide roll-out of an enterprise-wide Maintenance and Stores System with integrated complementary imaging and workflow/routing capabilities using client/server technologies and a state of the art wide-band wide-area network (WAN). Muli-site implementations across an enterprise are typically 18 - 24 month efforts, beginning with a 2 to 3 month conference room pilot, proof of concept laboratory either at the vendor site or at a chosen corporate site. The laboratory environment provides for the validation of new technologies and proof-of -concepts as part of the re-engineering process prior to enterprise-wide rollout. This approach reduces impact on the mills and increases the probability of a successful implementation. Having representation from all mills, ensures not only a best of breed solution, but also a validated global consensus across the corporation.
