Black Liquor Advisory Committee Activities Report, 1998 Engineering Conference Proceedings
The organization of BLRBAC includes operating companies, insurers and manufacturers. Eight active subcommittees have created and updated industry safety standards. Recent activities have clarified recovery boiler emergency procedures, instrument expectations, personnel training, and safe fuel firing logic. Work recently started will focus on current issues around burning of non-condensible gases and waste streams. A new WEB site is being developed, and initial documents are available on www.blrbac.org.
