The presentation will focus on differences between conventional wraplines and a new technology of roll wrapping. In contrast to conventional wrapping systems with many unwinds for the wrapping paper, Voith Paper developed a concept working on the spiral wrapping technique - the Twister®.

The Twister® uses only one size of wrapping paper, having a width of 500 mm. It is spirally wound around the paper to handle all roll widths. The advantage of the Twister® is the compact design, easy wrapping paper handling and all rolls are optically excellently wrapped. Purchasing only one size of wrapping paper saves costs in logistics and storage. One unwind and simple wrapping paper dispenser saves costs in spares and maintenance.
