Wood Product VOC Emissions - The Basis of Expression and Regulatory Implications, 2000 Environmental Conference Proceedings

- D. Heitz, G. W. Hardy, L. Modica -- In estimating VOC emissions from sources in the wood products industry, facilities have typically used emission factors expressed on an "as carbon" basis derived from EPA Method 25A test data. Although these VOC emission rates have been widely used for state and Title V air permits for many years, it has recently been questioned as to whether these emissin estimates are accurate to use for applicability determinations under the New Source Review (NSR) and Title V programs.
