Replacement of an ASB Lining System, 1990 Environmental Conference Proceedings

Due to the deterioration of a Hypalon liner in an aeration basin, it became necessary to plan, implement and construct a replacement liner system. The course of events from the time the liner failure was identified through the successful installation of a new HDPE liner will be reviewed. Topics such as team building, alternative mode of treatment, liner selection, gas vent design and construction logistics will be discussed. Emphasis will be on quality control and documentation of the liner placement during the slide presentation.
