A heated canister method has been developed and validated for measuring source HAP and VOC emissions. The method is being used to measure emissions from a variety of sources at nine bleach kraft, two unbleached kraft, two sulfite and one stand-alone semi-chemical mill. These data, along with the results of process liquor analyses, will be used to estimate industry-wide emissions and to develop a better understanding of the process variables which may affect source emissions.
