My TAPPI Story: McKenna Goulette
The process to demonstrate the environmental benefits of the land application of waste water treatment sludge (biosolids) is outlined. The biosolids include grit chamber removals, primary, and secondary sludge generated in the treatment of unbleached, kraft wastewater. The results are based on case studies in Northeast Florida that span 1983 through the current program continuation in 1996. The current studies are to provide data for regulatory exemption.
