MACT I - Phase II Collection and Incineration Options at a Large Bleached Kraft Mill, 2003 Environmental Conference Proceesings

The Domtar Industries Corporation mill at Ashdown, Arkansas contracted with BE&K Engineering to develop an order-of-magnitude cost (i.e., ± 25%) estimate and study to determine the compliance requirements with the Cluster Rule’s Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) I – Phase II. The MACT I – Phase II compliance date is April 17, 2006. The requirements include the sources needing collection and the risks and concerns regarding interpretations of collection of various sources.
