Processing and Film Properties of Polypropylene Made Using Metallocene Catalysts, 2000 Polymers, Laminations & Coatings Conference Proceedings

Mark T. DeMeuse--This paper will present results of both laboratory and pilot line evaluations of homopolymer polypropylenes produced using metallocene catalysts. The main focus of the work will be on the physical properties of the oriented films made from the isotactic homopolymer materials. Discussion will also be provided of processing issues that occur during the film manufacturing process.
