Infectious Waste Management: Strategies for the Health Care Facility, 1990 Polymers, Laminations & Coatings Conference Proceedings

Although no federal regulations have yet been issued which affect all states, the majority of states have promulgated regulations which call for some degree of infectious waste regulation. Efficiently and economically complying with these regulations will require the implementation of a management program that will properly identify, segregate, package, transport, treat and dispose of infectious wastes.
