Fugitive: Slip, 1996 Polymers, Laminations & Coatings Conference Proceedings
Slip has long been recognized as a migratory material: necessary but sometime unpredictable in many cases. Treatment levels for printing or laminating and C.O.F. required for packaging operations are two common concerns. Coextrusions add to the complexity of predicting slip migration as slip is absorbed into layers adjacent to the slip containing layers. Examples of field problems and solutions will be discussed.
